I wonder when the television will be swallowed by the Internet… With the acquisition of YouTube for $1.65 billion, and with the explosion of free tv online sites, I think we are quite close. Here is a link to an innovative application called Passingby . It simply shows you some videos from the road, giving you the opportunity to virtually travel through different countries. The footages are taken especially from cars and trains, and give you a strong feeling of authenticity. It is really cool to see London at night, and after a few seconds to admire some forests in Finland. I didn’t see any videos from Romania, so I’m counting on you guys to do something about it.
