Well, at last we have a stable pattern that allows us to draw some conclusions regarding the future of human kind. We already have some dellicate issues, in the sense that the balance constantly turns thowards East of Greenwich, more exactly Asia… And if India is out of the question, due to it’s religious and spiritual enhancement, China has no problem to constantly continue it’s growth to the point where it could very easily win the first place in the competition for wealth and world domination… The labour force of this comunist country is absolutely amazing, and already some commercial domains like the maritime commerce are threatened by the chinese, and the only thing that stops them from taking over is one of the greatest problem with whom they are confrounting with: the vast majority doesn’t speak English, yet. But imagine a world dominated by the yellow race, who in such a long time managed to calibrate the comunist weapon in such a manner that it obtained a certain efficiency, not only in the economical way, but also regarding the will for freedom of the human spirit. They already have the largest and tallest hotel in the world, they already have cities like Beijing wich are at almost the same level of development as the american or japaneze metropols, and nothing stops them from evolving at this time. We’ve all seen what the influence of the most powerfull country in the world means… We have more or less burrowed it’s habbits, thinking that it will bring us a little closer to that forever dreamed maximum confort on all plans. But it’s hard for me to even take a short glimps at the near future when the chinese people will dictate the trends in the world, and it’s language will become the most spoken on the planet…
But that’s just a point of view. On the other hand, when it comes to the “overpopulating” phenomenon, I thing that Nature still has some aces in her sleeve, and the concequences of global warming, wich are felt even at this time, will become far more powerful, even if, absurdly supposing, we’d stop the pollution now. The americans have no interest of doing that, so do some other polluting giants, so i think that in this matter we should’t worry: we’re killing our selves as we speak, slow but shurely…
